Copyright - is a set of exculsive rights that are granted to an author or creater of an orignial piece of work, including the right to copy, distribute and adapt the work.
Before we go ahead and use the 'The Saturdays' song 'Work' and recreate their video we need to make sure we get permission of them before we go ahead with our plans. Otherwise we would be copying and stealing their idea.
To get their permission we wrote them an email:

we are currently studying A2 media studies and have to make a music video for our course work. We have decided to choose your band to base our music video on with the song 'Work' because we feel inspired by your music and feel that we can create a suitable music video for our A2 practical production.
